BANK$ CLOSES OUT BOTR WITH A BANG!

ROBIN BANK$ and her great band from Toronto closed out the last BLUES ON THE RIDEAU Show of the 2012/13 Season at THE COVE INN in Westport last Friday - and she did so with a bang! A 3X Maple Blues Award nominee for Best Female Vocalist Of The Year and winner of the Best New Artist Award back in 1997 Robin is truly one of Canada's best Blues singers.

To quote the great Duke Robillard, who produced her soon to be released new album "Robin's got soul, class and most of all good taste!" Her veteran backline of Teddy Leonard on guitar (Fathead) and Mike Fitzpatrick on drums with Gary Kendall on bass (Downchild) provided great instrumental support for her powerful, soulful vocals. The crowd loved the show including her patented walkabout through the audience without microphone while singing one of her songs. With her pipes she doesn't need one
